About Matt

Matthew Williams is a character in the series Axis Powers Hetalia. He represents the country Canada and is the brother of Alfred F.Jones (America).

His hair is blonde on top, with more of an orange shade on the bottom and tips. He has violet eyes, though they have also been colored blue in some of the official art featuring him. In some of the merchandise for the series, his hair is colored completely orange.
Matthew wears a heavy tan winter coat and pants as his military uniform, though when he's dressed casual, he is usually shown wearing a red hoodie with the Canadian flag emblem, and a pair of jeans. Like his brother, Matthew wears glasses, though he also sports a pair of goggles on his head at times (such as when wearing his uniform).

In contrast to Alfred, Matthew is shy, sensitive, and hates fighting. Despite this, he is often mistaken for his brother and has found himself in trouble for incidents that Alfred has caused. When he's not being mistaken for his brother, all the other nations seem to forget that he exists. He is also passive aggressive and has a hidden snarky side, and has been known to make Alfred cry.
He has a pet polar bear named Kumajirou, but even it forgets about him. In return, Matthew can't ever remember his bear's exact name.

About Cuba

Cuba (human name unknown) is a minor character in the series Axis Powers Hetalia. He represents the country of Cuba. He is a large, deeply tanned man with his hair tied back into brown dreadlocks. He often wears colorful shirts and shorts, though his official character art depicts him in a green uniform shirt and shorts. Described as being a cheerful and chivalrous type, Cuba has a love for ice cream, though it's recently caused him to have problems with his weight. He often smokes a Cuban cigar.

About their relationship

Cuba and Canada share a close friendship and are on rather good terms, though they were initially enemies due to Cuba having mistaken Canada for his brother and wanting to fight with him.
Though he has mostly recognized the differences between the two, Cuba will occasionally mistake Canada for being America and get angry at him all over again.
